Alpha 4


Here is the changelog for the fourth Alpha of Tok:

New features and changes

  • You can now dodge enemy attacks
  • You can now block enemy attacks
  • Daggers have been added to the game
  • Cooldowns only happen in battle
  • A new menu allows you to change the bonus traits of items
  • The bonus traits of items can be rerolled
  • The rank of bonus traits can be increased with scraps
  • A new class system
  • Overview of known classes
  • Classes can be upgraded
  • The remaining treasure chests in the dungeon are displayed in the HUD
  • The inventory has been moved to the dungeon menu
  • The amount of scraps collected is displayed in the dungeon HUD
  • The ''item found'' message disappears when you click on it
  • The axe and the battleaxe of the first level have been added
  • Slimes leave a puddle of slime behind (will have an effect later)
  • There are spiked traps in the dungeons, which cause damage to the player or enemies when stepping on them
  • You can now flee from enemies
  • New item icons

Bug fixes

  • Entering an exit was not counted as a step
  • The generation of the dungeon could run in an endless loop

Known issues

  • It can happen that the player is placed on an opponent or object
  • There are more chests and exits than planned
  • Objects or chests sometimes block the exits of rooms
  • Most traits have no effect
  • The buttons to move left or right are not shown as pressed
