This is the changelog for the fifth Alpha of Tok:

New features and changes

  • Players and enemies can receive status effects
  • New status effect "Fortified"
  • New status effect "Poisoned"

  • Overview of active status effects in the dungeon menu
  • New effect for "First Aid" skill (one debuff removed and "Regeneration" buff)
  • Stepping on a puddle of slime stunes in battle

  • New skill "Fire Arrow" implemented
  • New skill "Defensive Stance"
  • Treasure chests can contain traps
  • New statistics "Traps triggered"
  • Dungeons have a level
  • At higher levels treasure chests contain more scraps and better equipment
  • Enemies become stronger at higher levels
  • Battle turn counter in the dungeon HUD
  • Enemies can use skills
  • Enemies can avoid obstacles
  • A bestiary is accessible from the start menu
  • Possible targets for movements and actions are highlighted
  • Damage may be unavoidable (no evasion or blocking)
  • New items
  • Adjusted item and enemy values
  • New design for scrollbars
  • Credits are accessible from the start menu

Bug fixes

  • Crash, if an enemy wanted to go to a place where there was already another enemy
  • Sometimes a block was displayed without having the block trait
  • The use of instant skills did not completed the current turn
  • Puddles of slime could appear on other objects
  • Crash when opening the menu for a rank 5 bonus trait

Known issues

  • It can happen that the player is placed on an enemy or object
  • There are more chests and exits than planned
  • Objects or chests sometimes block the exits of rooms
  • Most traits have no effect
  • The buttons to move left or right are not shown as pressed
