Alpha 6


This is the changelog for the sixth Alpha:

New features and changes

  • Rudimentary implementation of long-range weapons
  • Completely new algorithm for dungeon generation
  • New enemy Bat
  • Elite enemies
  • Improved evasive behaviour for enemies
  • Critical hits implemented
  • New representation of cooldowns
  • Enemies can have traits
  • Projectiles have a range
  • Settings are accessible from the start menu and the dungeon menu
  • New items
  • New skills and item traits
  • Items can only get certain traits as a bonus
  • The damage popup distinguishes between damage and healing
  • The change between adventure and combat mode is displayed
  • The strength rating has been removed from the game
  • Damage can be nonlethal and unavoidable
  • Many traits have been renamed
  • Icons for item traits
  • New icons for items
  • Many improvements to the GUI
  • Test implementation of some sounds in the inventory

Bug fixes

  • The buttons to move left or right were not shown as pressed
  • Damage over time could trigger protection spells
  • Skills used in combat did not immediately reduce the cool-down by one turn
  • The game crashed when a player class reached the highest rank

Known Issues

  • No exits are placed
  • Many properties have no effect yet
  • The generated dungeons are still not very interesting
